Rally Point is set in a large intersection in an urban area, with terraced platforms and many structures available for cover. The entrance is on ground level, just behind the Warthog. LA There's a Spartan laser in the northern corner of the building, indoors.

Warthog At the northwest corner of the building, on the ground level, is an empty Warthog. I've always wanted a vehicle-heavy Firefight map, and little playground where you can just drive around in the Scorpion or Revenant and blow stuff up, or fly around in the Falcon or Banshee and mow enemies down from the air.SN There are sniper rifles on the upper platform of the main building in the area, on the short perimeter wall. Two additional ODSTs would be down in the garage with the Scorpion and Gauss 'Hog, and they would be programmed to jump on the turrets for those vehicles. Two ODSTs would be on the balcony on the left side near the Falcon spawn, and these would be programmed to hop on the turrets when the player enters the Falcon.

  • Finally, there would be friendly AI placed throughout the map.
  • The Falcon would have a chaingun just like it does in Halo: Reach's campaign for the sake of solo players, and you would also be able to highjack enemy Banshees.
  • In the air, you would Banshees flying in at the start of every wave to challenge the players in the Falcon.
  • The Phantoms that drop off enemy troops would also drop off up to 2x Revenants each, for a total of 4 each round this would present some challenge to the Scorpion, while giving the player plenty of enemy vehicles for you to blow up when driving the tank.
  • Players would spawn in the center of the temple, with a Scorpion in a sort of garage underneath the temple (plus a Gauss Warthog), and a Falcon placed on a balcony overlooking the cliff outside (on the left side of the temple from where you enter in the Delta Halo level).
  • Remember the temple at the end of the Scorpion segment on Delta Halo? That would be the best place to base the map on IMO, just make it a little bigger so it can handle more vehicles.
  • Maybe for an Installation 05 map, we could get the same thing, but this time with some of the vehicles that haven't been featured in classic Firefight like the Scorpion, Falcon, Gauss Warthog, Banshee, and Revenant. Installation 04 gave us friendly AI that could ride in the Warthog or Mongoose with the player, which was great for when you were playing solo. The map would need something special to set it apart. Maybe for when Halo: Reach releases for The Master Chief Collection, we could get a similar map based on Halo 2: Anniversary? With the launch of Halo: CE Anniversary, we got the map Installation 04 for Halo: Reach's Firefight mode, a map based directly off the second level Halo: CE's campaign that included some new features, namely friendly AI.
